Like many in the performing arts, Finn attributes much of his growth to the guidance of mentors. “I have mentors who travel the country—guys I look up to and learn from regularly,” Finn shared. Finn reflected on one gig where things didn’t go as smoothly as planned: “I didn’t realize how chaotic it would be starting the show at 5:30… it was like a zoo!” But he takes every challenge in stride, viewing them as learning experiences. “You get so much better at your craft when you embrace your mistakes,” he noted.

Finn’s approach to magic sets him apart. “I don’t like making fun of people in my shows. Some magicians do, but I don’t,” he explained. For him, it’s about ensuring the audience has a fun, positive experience. Whether it’s a close-up trick or a large stage show, Finn focuses on reading the room and engaging with participants in a way that makes them feel part of the magic.
